Lovely to see so many of you hear. I would like to welcome you to our new venue for 2010 . Also to welcome new members…………. Sadly we announce that Jennifer is retiring as welfare officer and would like you to put your hands together in thanks for the years she has done on the committee.
I would like to stand down the 2009 committee.

Opening Speech 2010
As we have had no nominations to stand for the 2010 committee the old committee is prepared to stand with the exception of Jennifer, and in her place we do have a nomination for welfare officer which is Christine French
Tina will now read out the positions we would like somebody to nominate and somebody to second it.
The subs have remained for this year at £10 which is due and must be paid by the end of February or names will be removed from the members list no further reminder will be sent out
Christines husband is making tea and putting tables and chairs out as in the past problems with the tea rota and putting place to rights has caused a problem to the committee.
Due to the bad weather we could not hold our last committee meeting, so your new committee will notify of future events and meetings for this year other than February meeting is Katys quiz and first Coffee morning is Wyevale The Dicker but will hand to Katy. You will have the list of meetings and events as soon as available. |
